The Japan News.Net

UPDATE January 2012: The Japan News.Net and associated sites have been undergoing a dramatic redesign process and will be relaunched later this month. The new site/s will contain local, international and business news generated by our group as well as news from two, and possibly three wire services, as well as aggregated content from other sources. We have also entered into an agreeement with Financial Content to provide us with customised news, charts, and quotes information on markets as well as exchange rates. Our News Poll will remain, links to other sites, and weather information and forecasts of course will be provided.

There will be a number of other new features that will complement the original format launched in 1999. The current redesign process has been underway for more than a year, but the total project has taken the best part of the last decade as the features we will bring forward have taken considerable time to develop in order to intregrate them into our database which has in itself been a major project in terms of development over a considerable period of time and involving a number of programmers.

We thank users to our site, not only those that visit direct but those that subscribe to our daily email service, our RSS feed, or news headline widgets, and those that contribute news releases, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter. We look forward to continuing our association  with all users well into the future, and thank you all for your support over the past decade and beyond..

The Japan News.Net is a stand-alone site covering news of the The Japan area, including stories from around the region and the state. Additionally we provide international headlines, business and finance stories, and foreign exchange rates. Weather and links to other news media in the city are also displayed. We provide a news poll and offer complimentary daily emails of news of the category, or categories of your choice. We provide RSS feeds for our various categories including local news. The Japan News.Net has been in operation since 1999 and is part of an international news service all with the news.net extension.

The owning entity of The Japan News.Net is Mainstream Media EC, which is incorporated in Bahrain where its original media aspirations were born, however the ownership is Australian.
